Defibrillator (AED) & CPR

Enable candidates to deliver the safe application of an automated external defibrillation (AED) during an emergency situation.

All delegates also receive a course pack including a first aid manual and personal First Aid Kit.

Who should attend?

Those who have access to a defibrator within the workplace

First Aiders who wish to enhance their skills to be able to assist with delivery Defibrillation as part of the CPR protocol.

As an team leader in the use of a AED you will be able to deal with:

A casualty with shock indicated
A casualty with no Shock indicated
An unknown Scenario Demonstrate effectively the procedure for using an AED as a single operator for:

A casualty with no Shock indicated

Course duration

All candidates for the Emergency Responder must attend a four hour course of instruction and assessment.
